Default HJC AC12 Carbon Fiber

Hey all... I wanted to know if any of you have tested the HJC AC12 Carbon Fiber helmet... it retails for around 400 bucks, and I've found a good deal on one for 300. I'm in the market for a new helmet, and I know that the carbon fiber is supposed to be much lighter than the rest. Anyways, have any of you ridden with it? Does it really decrease on fatigue and neck stickness? Thanks!

It's a hot looking lid. I havent been able to find anyone with firsthand experience with any of the AC12's. I would like to get one as a backup/alternate. It's nice to be able to let one helmet air out while you wear the other one.

I can tell you that a lightweight lid magnifys your riding pleasure. I currently ride a Shoei X-Eleven. It's amazing when you combine the lightweight construction with the aerodynamics.

Use the search feature. I had a full review of the AC-12 Carbon fiber helmet I posted awhile ago. It's only on page 3 of this area:

Kinda hard to see in my avatar but I ordered mine last Nov. finally got in March. I love it!! Really lite and comfy. I had the AC11, come down off a wheelie too hard and gave myself wiplash for 2 weeks. This helmet weights about half as much. Only thing is I wish it had more vents

Default AC-12 Carbon Fiber ELBOWZ

OK so this is an older thread but I figured I would add to this instead of creating an entirely NEW thread just to brag about my new helmet.

All I have to say is I absolutely love this thing. Lighter than my Mainframe and def much cooler graphics. Air flow/circulation is intense - not a big deal since I live in a cooler climate - but it still helps. Most of all, I am glad Dennis Kirk does a price match because they beat newenough.com's price which was the best I could find anywhere.
