Great sale on textile jackets. I ordered matching Speed and Strength Jackets for me and the wife and got them to the door for less than $130.

Just thought some of you would like this, I'm a newbie to street bikes and thought it was an incredible deal.

What kinda work doing in the area? I know the Nat gas boom has thousands of people working in and around the area.

I also do ALOTof traveling with my work too, mostly South Louisiana but also go to TX,Miss,Ten,Ar,OK,or Al at least once a month

 

The ones me and my wife bought had back, shoulder and elbow protection in them. I thought they were nice but its my first riding jacket. I was just really impressed with the price of them.

 

They did have the ones with all the pads, i opted for the $20 cheaper one that only came with elbow and shoulder. Only because i have the back protector i can swap out of my Joe Rocket. After watching a video review of the jacket seems i bought it for the wrong season lol. I was hoping it was for warm weather but the review said it was a spring/summer jacket.

My Rocket will have to suffice for this winter i guess lol, worked well the past two seasons but it is just a bit flashy for me. Prefer the toned down look of the SS jacket i bought, will probably order another jacket this summer for next winter.

We dont get many cold days down here anyhow, maybe a month or two of daytime weather below 40 and a few days of low 30's. Most of the year were burning up with the very humid and hot weather.

I'm going to keep an eye out on the closeouts for the sites I've been recommended. My jacket should be at the house today when i get off work and i can see how good of a deal i got.

 

Which jacket did you order. We got the hang em high jackets and they had all the armor, zippered vents, and a cold weather removeable vest and it was $59. They had some mesh jackets for the same price but the ones we ordered was the only style that had both of our sizes.

 

Im out of town with work right now but I can post some pics when I get home in a day or two.
