Default is this a good helmet? pics

a guy wants 110 shipped for this, he says its brand new, worn once. but i want a decent helmet. he said he got it from a freind so he doesnt know the model number. my question is, is this a decent safe helmet? not looking to spend 500 on a helmet, and what model is it? i tried to look at hjc website and couldnt find a match. thanks alot--brad

Looks like the same helmet I bought, only in a different color.

HJC CL-14 or something, DOT/Snell approved.



This was way more comfortable to me than the $600 Arai and Shoei helmets I tried on for some reason, but it really differs between people I suppose.

Don't waste your time buying a used helmet. You really need to go shop around and try some different helmets on and see what fits you. If you are looking for a budget helmet, look at the HJC and Scorpion line. They both have great helmets for $150 to $200. I think new, the helmet you are looking at runs $149.

You don't know the history of the helmet. Even though it may not have any marks, it could have been dropped or damaged. Your life isn't worth it. For alittle more you can get a new helmet that you know is perfect.

I concur with Neon...Me and most of my boys wear Scorpion helmets. They are awesome for visibility, comfort, style and most importantly value. They go for $130 to $180 in most bike shops. You never know what a used helmet has gone through. Go for new and you'll have no doubt.
