Good job getting your gear.

As for boots, there are many good choices. You want a boot that preferably has good support & ankle protection. I use Alpinestars touring boots & Sidi Vertigos.

Good luck boot shopping.

I roll with Sidi's. Good fit, comfy and water-proof. Pricey? Yes. If you take care of
them, it's the last pair of scooter boots you'll buy, though.

Good job getting your gear, mike209. Hope you find some boots you like.

I wear Xpd boots because they're CE certified, they fit me fine, and I think they look decent. I have the perforated/vented ones, which are great for the southern AZ desert. Even so, though, my feet don't get cold when I'm riding in to work at 40 - 50F on a winter morning.

Happy boot hunting!
