Has anyone considered some of the european style jackets? I like the look of a lot of them and I feel like everyone rolls Joe Rocket style around here (Ohio).

can you be more specific as far s European style? I have ICON and AGV both work great. Unfortunately riding gear is like clothing, everyone has their own style and opinion on what they like and prefer. I prefer a leather jacket while some may be more than satisfied with a textile jacket. Try some on and see what you like.

You know, the more research I did (and I have done a lotof research in the past week), the more "regular" stuff I liked. Actually, euro style is hard to define now. My knowledge of gear was pretty basic when I first posted this. I just remember seeing some stuff a few years back from some lesser known european manufacturer's that I liked the look of. I've been riding with a big retarded looking old styleleather jacket that looks like something Michael Jackson would have worn in the 80's (except black). The thing is in great shape, and offersreally good protection, but I hated the look of itand it was only comfortable in colder weather. It seems likeevery douchebag squid around me with a new yzf-r6 yamaha (as their first bike) rides joe rocket gear, and I wanted my stuff to be the antithesis of theirs. Ihave realized that safety is the most important factor, so I compromised on style a bit. I was also looking for something that was a good value. Here's what I came up with:

I'm getting the black one. It's on it's way, and I hope it fits well and has good ventilation. I'm not too thrilled about the goofy looking padson the shoulders, but I'll get over it (or take them off if they're only cosmetic).

Does any one recommend good pants that would go with this jacket? Anyone have this jacket? If so,what do you think of it?

I have an AGV sport 1 piece leather suit, and I feel like I'm invincible in it... It also matches my helmet, which is pretty sweet, but I mostly like that it's track proven technology and will save my *** if I ever crash, which hopefully wont happen, so far over 3 years I've been crash free.
