Default Best jacket under $150????

I've been looking at http://www.motorcyclecloseouts.com and http://www.newenough.com and I'm trying to find a good jacket for myself. I've got a 98 F3 that will be used pretty much for cruising and going fast every now and then, no stunting or anything like that. I'm just looking for a cheap jacket that I can use throughout the entire riding season. I'm 5'11" and 200lbs and I have broad shoulders. I'm guessing I will probably need a large. I like these two jackets but I'm looking for input

How much to you value waterproofing? I have the Joe Rocket UFO jacket that is very similar to the top one that you're looking at. It's a great jacket but it is not even remotely waterproof. I don't know about how good the waterproof lining is on the other one but I certainly looks at least somewhat better.

i bought an icon stealth hoolign jacket for $135. it is a mesh jacket with padded inserts that are removable. it also has an extra warm layer you can remove. for $135 it was a great deal. i found it from hanksters on ebay. i have his number if you want it. just look up icon hooligan in black on ebay.

i got a speed and strength, moment of truth jacket, Its 150$ and its awesome, back pad, shoulder pad elbow pads, removable liner and zippered vents. Its awesome I HIGHLY recommend it.

It looks just like this except without all those stupid patches (if you like em, I'm sorry I think they are ghey) but yeah.

bradseabridge, that looks like a pretty decent jacket I just have a few questions. How big are you and what size did you get? Also what color would you recommend? I think the jacket looks better in all black, but I am concerned that it will be too hot during in the middle of summer days. My main concern is that I can't try these jackets on before I purchase one. I really don't guess on what size I need, and order it, only to have it come in the mail and not fit worth a sh*t. Let me know what you think

thanks
