Default Ballistic Armor Wear

Hi everyone. New to the forums.

I just got a bike and i wanna be super safe. Im gonna pick up a leather jacket and i was looking at this...
http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...amp;division=1

Has anyone tried these. This looks like it would be pretty good for hot places like miami.
Any opinions?

i mean if your into outer armor, then go for it - it seems like parts of it is fabric then hard plastic on the vuln spots (elbows, shoulders, back), which you know if you wreck that's the last time the fabric will stay together (sleeves to torso).. so i would rather go for the Icon Armor vest with elbow pads. Trust me, when you wreck - cloth will just rip off, i had to go to UMC in my boxers because my cargo pants and shirt was ripped completely off.

but outer armor is going to be the best for a hot place like florida (i live in vegas so we got dry heat) but actually if you get a nice leather jacket, you can seriously ride with one in the summer and when/if you drop you probbly will have minimal scrapes.

it's still a nice jacket but i would wonder about the mesh fabric that connects all the protection plates.
