These are the gloves I use most of the time
http://www.alpinestars.com/GP_Plus_G.../p/355656.html

They are a bit $$$$ but they are well worth it. Great protection and comfort. Very warm for colder weather.

But for hot weather and short rides is use these

That sucks to hear and to look at. Sorry you had to learn the hard way, bro. I don't wear these gloves for street. I already have A* sp-1 gloves and I bought these gloves for MX hence the very bottom of the description, "Motocross styling".

ORIGINAL: Grady

OUCH![>:]
That hurts just looking at it. Thanks for the pics, squids - pay attention, this is what road rash looks like!
I had that look...though not quite that bad over 50% of my body when I took a spill at about 70mph on my old ZX-6.

Still have some faint scars on my legs....

Road Rash hurts...so does a broken radius and ulna...

I haven't got a decent pair of gloves...some Tourmasters...but they feel like oven mits...some raw cowhide rodeo looking things...
and a pair of Joe Rocket low ends.

I just bought a pair off eBay[:'(]

I've been wearing a pair of Teknic leather gauntlets, but they've been getting too warm for the weather here. I might have to pick up a pair of Octance S-Moto's for warmer days
