AGV Sport
Since I am figure challenged, I asked AGV to make a custom jacket for me. My first email to them and respons from them is dated back to March 22. They first lost my measurements, or they said it did not come through their website. Then they told me I have to pre-paid for it, so I did on May 2nd. I've been asking about the status of production and they do not respond at all. I know they will not just take my money, but their customer service sucks big time. I wish I am normal size human....
Also... I just found this pic. I feel there is something wrong with this pic. This is a company who says "designed by riders for riders"

Response from them to my sort of irritated feeling email.
Hello Yumi,
I apologize for delay.
When I asked you for pre-payment - I got information that it was put into
production.
As almost all motorcycle companies we have manufacturers on another side of
the world.
I sent email last week but didn't have replay from them since they have
special holiday weekend.
I will get to you till the end of the week with updated info.
I am sorry, I am just doing as much as I can.
Thank you
Sincerely,
Elena

That sucks that it's taking so long for you to get info about your jacket. I actually worked as an intern at AGV Sport for a summer a few years back and I can tell you that they aren't the most organized company out there (don't get me wrong they do make solid products). They also hire a lot of international students as interns which is probably why that email response wasn't perfectly clear. Your best bet is to bug them often, there was always a lot going on when I was there so I wouldn't be suprised if they forget to get back to you. I would email them frequently for updates and even give them a call, I know the 1-800 number on their website goes right to the office, you could probably even speak with Elena in person! The owners name is Michael Parrotte, but it's usually pretty hard to get in touch with him.
As for the "designed by riders for riders" bit, it's mostly true, there were only a couple of interns there with me that didn't ride and most of their internships weren't directly related to any of the gear AGV Sport makes. Although, I wish the girl in the pic worked there when I did .
