Project CBR is in progress......
LOL, no actually, I manage a Automotive repair shop.
Brought it to work today, had to extract some stripped bolts and well....the old girl is really close to driving.
rebuilt ft calipers today so she stops now....installed chain, changed oil, filled with coolant, and let her run....
Having some carb issues...might have to take them back off.....thats why the air box is not in the bike as she is being very tempermental at the moment......but shes really close

having some tuning issues at moment, bike ran fine before tear down......now two center plugs are gettting fouled out after short drive , lik two center cylinders are not firing. Yes, I have spark from all 4 coils, changed plugs, carbs rebuilt...not sure whats going on......so close yet so far....LOL
Whew....finally figured it out....the vacuum piston went bad in the 2nd carb.
Found a Zero Gravity windscreen for the ol girl, waiting on that and some misc clips and screws.....she should be road worthy by the end of the weekend!

UPDATE: the Ol girl is just sitting....trying to find a new or good used vacuum piston for the carbs. Its dumping fuel and fouling out the number two cylinder.
I have been searching for three weeks now and cannot find one as of yet.
So, if I cannot find maybe i will swap to 93+ up carb setup. I really do not want to as trying to keep original as possible on the drivetrain front but I am running out of answers.
It is sooooo frustrating seeing it almost completed and now have this issue.....

The 93+ carbs were designed by honda to be harder(more complicated and hard to reach) to sync than the older versions so people would shy away from doing it themselves. I would try and fix the ones you have.
