Sounds fun. We've still got snow out here, so pretty jealous
If you've got support vehicles you're already spoiled rotten. I would say that 16 hours is a good long ride, so make sure to take the bike out for a couple shorter 3-4 hour runs to make sure you're comfortable and that she's free of mechanical nags. A bluetooth in the helmet with the ability to make handsfree calls (ie to the support vehicle to request sandwiches etc) is also a big help
Have fun

Yes, Stay out front by yourself with the feeling of freedom. If anyone wants to switch, say no and tell them to get their own bike. They can't ask if you stay out front with a good lead. lol
