New 1KF Owner!
Hi all...
I sold my ST1300 last fall and had been scouting Craigslist for something a little more sporty that would still satisfy my touring jones...and I ran across this beauty. It had only 4653 miles and it was bone stock. I thought the ad was bull**** until I went for a look. Perhaps the creamiest creampuff I have ever ran across. I'm almost embarrassed to tell you all what I paid for it...

Well you can least give us a hint to where in the world you are.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I paid $2900 which I consider a pretty good price given the condition. I had a set of Michelin Pilots installed last week because the stock rubber was original and I didn't trust the hairline cracks in the carcass. Other than that it looks and rides pretty much like a 16 year old brand new bike. Love the forum, and especially the Hurricane section...my second bike (years ago) was a 1988 Hurricane 600 so there's a ton of new info here plus some great memories. Looking forward to being a part of the community.
