visors
im thinking about getting a chrome visor, and i 've got a couple questions.......
-is it too tinted that you dont have GOOD visibility at night?
-how ARE the tinted ones on visibility at night?
i ride my bike at night quite a bit and i dont want a visor that will hinder my visibility. but at the same time i'd like something to block out the sun on the cloudless summer days.

RE: visors
Howdy,
I have a chromed reflective visor for my Vega helmet and from my experiance over a year, its not something you want at night. During the early morning when the sun is coming up, daytime, and evening its fine, But when the sun starts setting you lose a lot of visibilty fast. I recently did a 3 hr run, and when me and my friend left it was great. But on the return trip by the time 8pm came around I was really regreting not taking my clear visor with me. By the time night hits, you have to pull the visor up to see where your going outside the immediate headlight area. Hope this helps your decision.
