Default Has anyone used Tapeworks???

Some of their stuff looks pretty cool but I was wondering how they work and how durable are they? Can you apply them yourself or would it be better to take them to a body shop?

Great products all around... high quality and decent price.

I agree with the comment about applying the vinyl in warmer weather. A couple years ago, during the summer months in Michigan, I put a set of wing shadows on, no problem. A month ago (middle of March) I got a little too anxious and put my rim stripes on in 50 degree weather. Big mistake! They look alright from a distance and possibly even better while the bike is in motion. But when you look closely... well I won't say how upset I am with the job I did!

Do yourself a favor and follow Tapeworks' recommendations about applying their product within a certain temperature range!

Just put in an order with them last week. The box should be showing up on Wednesday. Great guys to deal with. They answered any questions really quick. I'll let ya know how it works out, and, i'll post up some pics. Got the black tinted headlight mesh.

Ditto what everyone else has said. Seems like quality stuff. Take your time. I've seen the results of some folks that look like they got in a big hurry for the rim tape and it shows. The extra time spent making sure it's even will be well worth it in the long run.

Can't say it was cheep, but the flame kit you see in my pic is from tapeworks and I love it! I only used about 20% of the flames that came in the kit...to use the rest would have been wayyy gaudy (sp?) if you check my pic in album, you can see them better, but they are actualy red reflective flames that you cannot see at all during the day as they were almost a perfect match, but they show up here beacuse of the camera flash.
They even posted my bike on thier site!
