Side Note: someone mentioned the Snell M2005- Just a point, Snell has finally agreed with the article in Motorcyclist that their standards are wrong. They recently updated the standard. 2005 is no longer valid for new helmet designs. I have yet to see a helmet with the new specifications though.

The original article was posted. BIG controversy. You'd have to google it, I just can't right now. I know that it started in 2005 by a test themagazine did and SNELL took it personally and declared war. They finally conceded with their new standard (IIRC it's the 2008 or 2009 standard).

Yup. And these helmets are ECE certified, which was already proven superior to Snell05.

These are rated the ECE rating (as required in MotoGP - higher rating than Snell).

The photochromic visors work pretty well actually and I was surprised that they discontinued them. As far as I know Akuma is the only manufacturer that has the T.O.D. Tint On Demand visors.

The Visor is not in production yet but might be next year....dont know for certain.
