I didn't use the pen from Color Rite, but i bought either a pint or a quart to repaint my upper fairing and it was great. the color matched perfectly and the quality seemed to be good. I would definitely recommend their product. It was a little pricy but I think it was worth it.

Would local paint stores be able to match Honda colors properly or do you basically have to go with color rite?

well that pedens because, ColorRite is for the most part just a cosmetic fix, but if you really wanted to do extensive paint to a larger part of ur bike then A) you could also order more paint from ColoRite enough to repaint the bike or B) local shops if they are good are likely to get pretty damn close to the stock paint too. Again just depends what kinda work ur looking to do but a local shop is not likely to mix up a little amount of paint for cosmetic work without charging you a nut and half.
