Question WTB: 01 CBR 929 RR Wire Harness

So I have a 2001 Honda CBR 929 RR. The person that owned the bike before me destroyed all electrical in the bike. So far, my headlight has randomly gone on and off, I have gone through 3 batteries due to a short somewhere that I can't find. A friend of mine who is an electrician found one short and now the headlight works. However, every time I turn on my right turn signal, the headlight turns off until I push the button back in.

I need to completely rewire the bike.
I am ISO of the original wire harness for the 01 CBR 929 RR. I am not sure if there are multiple wire harnesses, or if it is just one piece. A fully operational harness is preferred, However, at this point, even if the wire is in rough shape, as long is it is original.... I'm thinking my electrician buddy can recreate the harness if need be, but he would need an existing harness along with a diagram to follow. Idk... maybe that is naïve of me to think.

Any help or guidance is appreciated!

Welcome to the forum Justin.Nothem
You can see the harnesses here:

I would imagine ebay will be your friend or approaching a breakers / vehicle dismantlers.

Please take a moment to introduce yourself to the forum.
Where are you from, how long have you been riding etc.
We also love pictures.
Good luck
Al

@Justin.Nothem Welcome to the forum. The CBR929RR is a nice bike. What helped you select that bike? Other than the wiring, what other things need to be done? Having the service manual is going to help with getting it back in shape.

Other than the wiring, I need to change out the fairings since part of mine snapped off. ... My new aftermarket fairings just came in so I am curious to see how well they fit. I also need to eventually replace the rear turn signals and the head light. New grips would be nice. You know... minor customizations. I chose this bike simply because my first bike was a 82 Honda CB 900 and after the engine blew, this bike caught my eye! I am biased to Honda . I added a thread on the new member section that describes a little more about the bike. Also added a pic there Thanks for the comment!

Thanks for the link! The diagram helps a ton. Unfortunately, the main wire harness is unavailable on the site and I cannot find anyone on ebay that has one. This weekend, I am taking apart the bike to get a better look at the electrical. I think my best bet is to thoroughly inspect what I have and then go from there.

I have made a separate post in the new member section introducing myself. Here is a picture of the bike. Thanks for the comment!
