Hello all , have a question concerning cbr400 nc23 engines . The one in the bike now is engine number nc23e-1094174 it has shim under bucket cam followers and I have an extra engine number is nc23e-104968 it has finger followers under the cams, what gives? I did not know there was such an cbr400 engine , I believed they were all shim under bucket design. The finger follower engine has a different cam cover and a different flywheel than the shim under bucket engine , can anyone shed any light on the different engines?
