Default Honda CBR 125 RW Carb

So I've been hunting awhile for a new carb for my wonderful CBR to get it running again and I have no idea if there is a aftermarket carb that will suit the bike as for some reason the carb that came in the factor is just a DEMON to find....as in nowhere actually has it.

I know the issue with my bike is to do with Fuel delivery....basically fuel is going into the engine as I found out when removing the fuel tube to the carb and it spouted fuel into a fuel can. I know the bike starts if you slip a little fuel to the spark plugs chamber but it seems to not keep going once that little bit of fuel is burnt up.

So I come to you guys to help me out with what might be up with this thing.

Need to fully disassemble carb and clean everything. Scrub out all jets, emulsion tubes and hidden/secret internal passages in carb using PEA-based fuel-system cleaner. Poke out all bleed-holes in jets, bleed-holes, emulsion tubes with soft copper wire of matching diameter. Ultrasonic soak everything, micro soda-blast before re-assembling. Replace all rubbers: float-valves, fuel-rail O-rings, pilot-screw O-ring, float-bowl seal, perhaps slide-diaphragm if needed. Set float-level with final wet-test.

I can't, the screws for the carb are completely seized in the carb, the idle jet scerw is completely stuck in there and same for the choke cable with I know doesn't work, hence why I'm asking about replacements.

It might help to mention exactly what bike you have - model and year...

And, there's no carb screw that can't be removed after a soak in penetrating oil, and maybe a light tap from an impact driver - the carb body is zink, the screws are steel or brass - they simply can't corrode enough to lock into place.

It's actually CBR125R, "W" denotes model-generation. 2006 was last year that had carburetors. What does yours look like?

2006 with carbs, round headlights

2007+ with EFI, pointy headlights

Get genuine JIS screwdrivers to work on bike. There's not single phillips screw anywhere on bike.

Also unless you buy brand-new factory OEM carb from authorised Honda dealer, any carb you buy will be used, been sitting around, and will need complete restoration just like yours.

carb parts here: https://www.oemmotorparts.com/en/gen...007/carburetor

Here's video as rough guide on what needs to be done. But he didn't do very good thorough job. Yours needs more cleaning work.

RW7 would be a 2007 model. The carb is only on RW6 and before.

Funny you should mention JIS screwdrivers, I own a set so we don't need to worry about that.

Second honestly OEM from Honda or an aftermarket, I don't mind as long as it runs

Looks EXACTALLY like that one, and I don't mind as long as I can get it running, its definitly the carb or fuel supply issue

like I said registered in 2008 (its litrally an 08 plate) but could be a RW6 (though mentioned earlier in the thread there does seem to me a 2007 carbed model)
