CB900F Crankcase cover sealant

Hi guys, I'm working on a Hornet and could you explain me this?

Picture is from Honda Workshop Manual, does it mean that I should apply sealant only to colored areas of the sealing surface? And what type of sealant do you use with Hondas?

I cannot post attachments yet, but yeah, which sealant you use with Hondas?

Most dealerships use ThreeBond, which is same as Yamabond or Hondabond.

Liquid Gaskets | ThreeBond

Cheers, SB

Attachment 87597 And now, with attachments, this is my original question. Should I apply sealant on colored surfaces only or what...

Apply sealer only to those areas. Those are the areas that the case halves and cover meet.
