Default Why Honda?

Let's pretend that I am a person that is considering purchasing a new sportbike. Why should I choose Honda over Suzuki, Kawasaki, or Yamaha? Are they quicker, lighter, and/or do they handle better? Do they have more racing championships then the other bikes? Sell me on a Honda CBR!

What sold me was comfort.

Go to the MC show and sit on every single bike you can. Better yet, hit up every single person you know that's dumb enough to let you take their bike out around the parking lot.

I can't stand Yamaha's riding positions, Kawasakis feel like I'm sitting on a razor blade (too tall/narrow for my tastes), etc...

I just found that the hondas were (to quote goldilocks) "Just right".

^^I agree.

The truth is that the performance differences between the big four's sportbikes are so slight that they're irrelevant for the mere mortal rider, especially on the street. For any of these bikes, the 'weak link' in the bike's performance will be the rider.

So it comes down to personal things - which bike fits you best, which one's looks do you like, and which one can you get the best deal on. I actually like the looks of the GSXR best, but when I sat on one, my knees were higher than my elbows, so I knew that wouldn't work.

This is the perfect answer!!

It probably doesn't matter weather you ride a ZX, GSX-R, or a CBR. The strongest and/or weakest point of a bike is the rider.

I think when you ride a CBR compared to a GSXr

on the CBR you are more on top of the bike, I love the ride on the CBR!!
