Default Pod filters?

well... seeing as i traded the ole' f3 for an 8 fzr1k...figure i'd go here... i have the wrong carb to airbox boots ,and the OEM boots are kinda expensive...where's a good place to buy pod filters for cheap?

i would honestly stray away from pod filters, theyre good for top end, but unless youre a professional at tuning carbs, you will never get the low end just right. they used an airbox for a reason.

good thing i have instructors who used to race in the 80-90's huh? lol

it's been VERY difficult to find an fzr1000 airbox... there's a ton of 600-750's

that was a damm good bike, when it was built.. and that was the year i bought my first motorcycle.. i feel a little embaressed now, it was a red Katana 600..
anyway i used to drool over that 1000 of yours in the magazines and say wow thats just too much bike for me... funny thing is, i bought three more six hundreds before i moved to a 750 and after all these years i've never rode one... whats its like???? is just like riding a 600 hundred of the same year but obviously more powerful and a lot more weight?? anyway great bike.. what i do remember was the trannys were loud when gearing...

i traded project for project...i actually haven't really rode this one, besides around the block after i fixed the clutch... i did have a 96 gsxr1100 though

that's exactly how much i paid for the 50mm for the fzr... they come from china so they take FOREVER lol... but the filters are the least of my worries... the shift dogs are worn out for 3rd so it won't stay in gear, suspension is stiff as a board, and all the electrical, makes me want to find the guy who he thought was an electrician
