cb750 chopper
I figured I would seek some help here. I have a cb750k that has a springer front end. It runs and rides however it needs a front brake master cylinder and lever. The cables. A rear fender to mount the seat and a simple tune up. I am not experienced with prices of these things and would like to have an idea of the price i would spend before going into a shop. How much would it cost for the items I need to become roadworthy?
I am trying to sell it but I'm having no luck. So I figured why not try to fix it up in the mean time so I can ride it. I really just miss my old F2.
heres a picture. think i should just keep it?

Hey Tang ... mate , ove seen a million CB750'S CHOPPED ... how kool !!!
are you selling her to buy a CBR ??
The part costs are really dependent to where you are in the world ... ?
For an old Honda like that , I would hit up the wreckers ... master should only cost 30-50 bucks at the most !!! seat ? well you maybe should also get a used one and recover it perhaps .. and that is only a 50 buck job if you have an upholsterer in your area ?
A nice old chopper though .... brings back a quite a few memories from the days when those Honda's were very popular for that sort of thing ...
good luck !!

Im in Austin, TX USA. I have a seat but don't have a rear fender to mount it....any ideas on how I could mount it without the fendeR?? And yes I am trying to sell it for a CBR, but thats not what this thread is about.
It's a shame it doesn't have matching wheels. A custom rear to match the front would improve the look no end.
Perhaps I"m not seeing it right but is that a fuel tank behind the engine?
I'd love to hear it running through those pipes. Damn they look loud.
I'd definitely get her fixed up and keep it, just for those days when you feel like a different horse to ride. Nice one!

As for the seat , I would only suggest that because she will be getting sold (else where of course ..lol) that you fabricate a few simple brackets and drill the buggers to the frame to avoid heat damage from trying to weld them to her ...
Looks like it would not be too hard to do ... it is amazing what can be done with a few tiny bits of strip aluminum ....
