Default Busa

Anyone have a busa in addition to having the their honda; I am considering adding one to my garage. I want a top end bike that's a little bigger that can also be a bit more comfortable for longer rides. Wouldn't definately like any feedback you may have.

I do own a 'Busa in addition to my CBR 1K, I like sport touring so I loaded it up and went to the black hills. I have always been a Honda guy but the need for speed kicked in. Haven't regreted going to a 'Zuki yet. Rock solid at 175 mph and still a little left to twist- and that's with all my luggage on it- kids don't try this at home! (not real smart on my part but there was a big valley of road ahead of me so I went for it). here is a pic.
Rode for 700 miles the first day, didn't miss a beat!

The Hayabusa is a Bad bike. Its comfortable has plenty of power and I mean plenty and is super smooth. Its a unique bike and this is the last year that they are making them in its current state. You may or may not want to wait for the new Busa that is suppose to come out this summer. Rumor has it that suzuki will release their new busa this summer. I don't see it happening since their new B-King doesn't come out until the end of the year. But who knows. If you are interested in the busa it is definitely worth the purchase. Or if you can wait get the new BusaI heard itssuppose to be turbo charged. Don't know how true that will be but since the release of the zx-14 from Kawi, Suzi now has a motive to come out with something even better.

Hey:

You may want to ride a zx1400 and gsxr 1300, the zx is a very good bike and basically killed off the
current Busa config in one year. The current Busa should be a bargin after the release of the new one, so
you may be able to save some cash too.

The way I see it between both of these superbikes is that they are already limited to 189 mph stock. Don't know how much more of an improvement the manufactures can make on these. But I am sure they will find a way. It is a good thing that the prices for these two bikes are sky high as well as insurance because it keeps these out of the hands of the less experianced riders. I have been riding for 25+ years and this thing still scares the crap out of me at times. The upper limits of these bikes should be only experianced on the track. I am fault just as much as the next guy for playing with the brutal exceleration on public highways. But I always ride within my limits and respect my surroundings. It may be just the area where I live but I see many more Busa's than I do ZX's (new ones that is), I know, give it time there is a new king of the road right?

They actually havent killed anything off. Suzuki made less of this year with the left over parts from previous years because the are supposably redesigning the Busa. I would getthat over the ZX. The ZX is supper ugly to me and only has 50 more CC's than the Busa. I believe its a 1347, compared to the Busa at a 1297. Still, I dont like the looks of the ZX and what not.
