There are a lot of bikes that never made it into the North American market, that purely kick *** and have been left off the list.

I'd have to say my 5th gen VFR since thats the only Honda I've ridden.

 

CB700s Nighthawk, circa '84 - '86.

Get one as a 2nd bike and you'll understand why. Shaft drive, hydraulic valves, 6 speed & some of the sexiest lines ever on a street bike.

 

I would say the F3 because it revolutionized the modern street bike and the 929 because of the fuel injection it brought to the playing fields.

 

I would have to agree with Dave, the CUB 50 is my number one on my list. !!!!!!Started Everything!!!!!
Did you see that video where they take an original CUB 50 (used just like any other used bike out there),
and they did a bunch of tests to it to see if it was a tuff as its reputation.
Well first they drive the scooter around beating the **** out of it. (Nothing bad happened).
Then they drain the oil and put usedcooking oil in it and drive around. (Nothing bad happened).
Then they overload the bike (i.e. put way to much weight on it). (Nothing went wrong).
Then they dropped it ofthe roof of a building and the wheel got bent but it still started and drove.

Crazy little machine.

I actually own a 01 RC51. It is by far the best bike i have ever ridden. so I have to choose it. But I too am a little upset that the 929 isn't up there.

 

I find it hard to believe no one picked the '83 v45 Interceptor. It stunned the world in terms of technology. I clearly remember how cool it was to pull from 3000 rpm to redline sooooooooo smoooooth.......

 

I love the looks of the 599. The 88 RC31 is a sweet looking bike as well. Alot of you are right about the CB750-4 making inline 4's what they are today. Honda just builds good bikes.

Oh and you can't forget the Z50. The first bike I every had was a 1969 Honda Z50 mini trail-street legal in stock form. I still have it but it needs alot of work.

 

My 84 pearl white vfr700 with white wheels. Way cool. Pretty much never saw another one on the road. Still love pics of her. Looked cool and fast sitting there. Still love her wish I had some pics. Now my 07 Rrepsol is my passion. Could not be more happy!
