Interesting. Something tells me the build quality is far behind Honda though.

hay guys... this isnt by any stretch of the imagination a jap bike, or anything of the sort... it is however a pretty good entry platform for you guys over in the states. when you compare it to the competition for the full fairing learner sports bikes over here in australia... i say, give me one. the 650 twin is sourced from hyosung, so u'd have to settle for the korean engine, as well as a;ll of the base suspension components. Originally it was built to use the aprilia 650 twin, however aprilia pulled the pin late in the project.

but i have read pretty good things. and its looks... wow, i say its definately a good way to break into the market. the ext models will surely be a pretty nice bit of kit.

There are supposed to be plenty of options such as ohlins and brembo bits and eventually engine mods. Hell, for the price, you cant beat this thing. It's not designed to run with the 600 supersports, its desingned to compete as an entry level sport bike along with the SV-650, Ninja 650 etc. Look at the price, it's pretty decent for a brand new bike. And when was the last time you could call Honda and have them put Ohlins on it or Brembo brakes? Try, never. 70hp may seem like peanuts, but to somone who has never ridden..........a little is a lot relative to nothing, and alot.......well. Not everyone is dumb enough to start on a 150hp liter bike. Not even your grandma.

Honestly...... I like it. I may even consider buying one.......after my 1krr. I am happy to see that the united states is making an attempt at a decent motorcycle. I know its not a r1 or a 1k. However, because it doesnt have tons horsepower doesnt mean its not fun to ride. I bet its a blast with the ohlins and Brembos (upgrades i know) on twisty road. V twins seem to like mtn roads. Too bad about the aprillia motor. Hopefully they will get rid of the carbs soon as well. The world has definatly gone injected. As an american I am much prouder of this thing than I am a Buell.
