i saw a video where the guy kicked the gears up to shift down and vice versa.. basically the complete opposite of every bike ive ever seen... is there a reason for this? what's this about haha. heres the link to the video on youtube.

 

Reverse shift is a race set up. At WOT, its quicker to push down than pull up with your toe.

There are conversion kits available for some bikes.
