y cant people just post there top speed with out there being an issue u spend ten thousand or what ever extra for performance to do a hundered and under iam not bashing and not in sulting but your speedo say 185 or so on and ur not timpeted or went past 140 cuz when iam on a stright no cars in sight i ride my honda like roxy renolds ride guy hard

 

Ugh...here we go AGAIN...do you realize that everytime you get on a bike, 1 you know that you're taking a risk already, why would you do something to increase that risk...2 you should have some sense of social responsibility everytime you ride

 

I did a little over 140 mph on my 03 YZF-R1 and I was going up a pretty severe incline on the freeway. I definitely could have gone faster but I didn't want to attract any more attention than I already had and the big ticket loomed in my mind. Now I keep her under 80 for the most part. I've got a perfect driving record with excellent insurance rates...guess I want to keep it that way.
