It seems like my ride is an endless "To Do List" and an "Endless Money Pit". 68K and 12 years of "riding like you stole it" has taken a toll on the ol' gal (97 F3).

- I need to rebuild my forks. They dampener valve is leaking on both forks. Looking to see if I can rebuild the dampener with race tech components or just buy a whole new dampener rod.

- Rear shock needs work too. The dampener valve at the remote reservoir is leaking too. Currently looking to see if I can rebuild this myself with race tech components. If not, eBay... here I come!

- Keeping cooking connector between the stator and wire harness. Looking into several things to fix this. Cutting out the old wires in the harness and replacing them with 12 gauge wire because currently I go from 12 gauge (stator) to 14 gauge (harness). At the stator connector, going to replace it with a connector that is a little more tolerant of heat and has a very tight fitted connection. The last piece of this fix it to go to a newer MOSFET RR from an R1. I attached a pic of the latest cooked connector which I had to cut apart with a Dremel. Man, those things are a life saver! Right now I have a bridge soldered in between where the harness was damaged and the connector. Luckily it didn't cook any of the harness from the stator that I just installed three months ago.

- Brake lines are getting old and leaking in at the banjo crimps. Looking to go with SS lines for this.

Oh my, where to begin.... Since I bought her I have not been able to do much to her. Though I did change the oil/filter last night!

-Track down factory mirrors and put them on
-Chain and sprockets**
-Hopefully find a red-to-black or purple-to-black Micron can (when I found out they stopped production I almost cryed!)
-Order all the OEM bolts and clips for the fairings (previous owner changed a few, but not all to to some crapy hex ones that rusy.
-Square away the fairings (might have to buy new brackets too..)
-Buy OEM seat
-Silverstar bulbs
-and lastly (never!) some black braided SS brake lines

**Can't seem to find a combo with stock gearing and 530.
