Default XBox 360 Suggestions

I know this subject has probably been brought up many a time. (I may have talked about it too, cant recall)
But I need your help on buying an XBox 360. I want to be cost efficient, but at the same time I dont want one that wont work properly or whatever.

What do you guys suggest.

XBox arcade, no hard drive - $200
XBox with 60g hard drive - $300
XBox Elite 120g hard drive - $400

Or save the cash? PS3 ?

Damn, I need people to read craigslist and buy my PSP

No real point in the 120gb model that I see. 60 gigs is plenty of storage space

60 gigs...I have the 20 from about two or three years ago, though. I play sparingly, step-daughter stores cchit, and my two oldest used to play on mine and store cchituntil my son got his own. After all that time, some deleting and cleaning up, I have 13 gb left. I would say 60 gb would be more than enough for a full time gamer. 120??? That is just obscene.

The elite is the only one that has an HDMI port on it, so if you want 1080p you have to go with the elite. If you have a 1080p HD tv it's just something to think about.

I went with the PS3. Its already 1080p capable and has the blu-ray feature already built in for watching bluray disc. what a difference over dvd's, wow.! You can also access the online content for free without paying a fee. For me it was a no brainer, not trying to diss the xbox but with the PS3 you definetly get more bang for your buck.I've seen them advertised between $349-399 right now for the 80gig version (in canada) so its not that much more then the xbox.
