WTF is Suzuki Thinking
Came across this website today. I thought it was a joke at first. They are marketing the Gladius as a fashion accessory? I don't know about you but I find this insulting.

RE: WTF is Suzuki Thinking
Insulting? Nah...
I think it's creative and really depends on the demographic they are targeting. I really don´t like the flow of the site though, but it´s still clever.
EDIT: Keep in mind, the more people they can attract to riding, the more people will be aware of the dangers on the road and more respectful those people will be to other riders. I wouldn´t knock Suzuki for trying to increase ridership.

RE: WTF is Suzuki Thinking
Toyota Pulled it off with the initial launch of Scion...
And in other cultures the motorcycle (and the scooter, as a sub species)is a fashion accessory.
If they can pull it off it would open riding to a whole new group of people, and go a long way to reverse the stigma that motorcycles have in some societies (like USA)
Personally i think the Gladius is a very nice standard bike, that goes along the likes of the Nighthawk.
...
Or I could just bash Suzuki... and say "no wonder the squids flock to the zukis as they market to the "fashion croud" the Gixxer is the ultimate form of ghetto "bling"...and now we get the squid with training wheels model"
But that would be narrow minded and prejudiced on my part.
I'd love to drag those footpegs on the ground just for the hell of it though...
