I got a 2 piece leather suit last summer. Got on an exercise bike for a couple of days to break it in. Worked real nice.

thanks for the input, guys. very helpful!

i 2day aired my boots so hopefully by the end of next week they will be here. i'll post pics of the gear/me in it. hahaha looks kinda funny right now though. i was riding around w/ a Icon helmet, Icon Daytona jacket, A* track pants, and some walmart steel toe work boots

im slowly getting some top of the line gear (all i need now is the MX-1 jacket), but for the time being.........read above, hahaha. im just half-assed geared up, lol!
ah so ya look like jared now lmao. j/k

underarmor or the likes ya cant beat. They make it a snap to get leathers on or off. and will keep your cool/warm depending on which ya got.

And mine are comfy. I can wear mine all day.
[:@][:@] Bitch mine aren't steel toe....though they are from wally world (I hate that store!!!!!!!!)[&:] I actually HATED riding with steel toe boots.... the shift arm would hit the boot right at the very edge of the steel plate, and it would 'roll off' of it as you shifted, making for missed shifts. Plus it wore a big hole in the top of the boot

LOL j/k!!

Actually the only time I don't wear my Nitro boots is when I go to work. I gotta have my regular work boots, and no room to carry them with (and I ain't wearing a backpack everyday). So during the week, work/hiking boots it is. Any other time I wear my riding boots

I've gotta get some of that underarmor for this summer... everybody says it's great stuff!

Some is better than none.

I commend the fact that you're at least making a forward attempt at getting geared up.

So, i finaly took a pic of my A* track pants, and i got my A* SMX-R boots in today...........WOW!!! i couldnt be happier w/ what i've decided to go w/. the pants have broken it quite nice and im getting used to that "uncomfortable" feeling, haha. The boots, i rode for about 30mins w/ them today and i LOVE them! they are breaking in nicely aswell and feel very comfortable! what sold me on the SMX-R's was their closure. i am against velcro, its ****ty, haha. but the SMX-R's were the A* boots w/ the least amount of velcro and looked the best. they close w/ a zipper up the side and a ratchet (like on rollerblades) for the top of the boot. very quick to throw on to go for a ride, and can be removed just as quick. i definately 100% w/o a doubt would recommend the boots to someone looking to get some good, protective riding boots.

soooooooo, enough yaking.....here's some pics.

forgot to add, i went w/ the vented version of the boots and the vents work VERY well. not so much that your feet will freeze in the winter, but its enough to cool you're feet off from sweating and what not.
