Wrecked the bike last Tuesday
Well on my way to work last Tuesday, I wrecked the bike. I was going down I-25 in Denver, looked away for a second looked back and traffic was stopped. I got on the brakes and tried to go to the right of the pickup in front of me. I didn't make it and ended up hitting his bumper at around 20mph I believe. I went over the front and landed on my right shoulder, and that's the only thing that's messed up since I was wearing all my gear. The docs in the ER said that I didn't break or seperate anything in my shoulder. They said I bruised the bone. ?It hurts pretty bad and I can't really use my right arm, but I just keep reminding myself that it could have been worse. Here's a pic of the bike, I'll try to get a few more tonight.
Anybody know where I can get plastics for a 91 CBR1000F?

RE: Wrecked the bike last Tuesday
I read somewhere that running into the back of someones car is about 15% of all motorcycle accidents.
I see guys on sportbikes about 10 feet off the bumpers of cars all the time. Glad to hear you didn't get hurt real bad, but if there is a lesson to be learned here is that a couple of seconds may not always be enough time to stop in time.
Thanks for the post, I'm gonna make sure I keep a safer distance than I have been. Heal up quick.
