Rode to work this morning, not sure what the temp was but I was sweating @ 4:30am! I can just imagin what 3:00pm this afternoon is gonna be like when I get off, supposed to hit 98 today! Gotta ride 30 minutes north of where I work to doctors appointment and then 45 minutes home, maybe 1 hour depending on traffic! Man I love riding but whoa its gonna be warm!

 

It was nice this morning, but it's well over 90 out here now (south of Cleveland, OH) Rode home yesterday and almost had to wring the sweat out of my jeans when I got off the bike. (ack!)

At least in this weather there are tons of bikes on the road and the cars tend to pay a little more attention.

 

Not raining up in Cleveland today??? here in Columbus just poured for the last 2 hours......but yes I agree yesterday was annoyingly hot, was in same boat with ringing out jeans....

 

NC mornings are very nice. afternoons have been reaching high 80's low 90's

 

We haven't had rain here in weeks. We had a little over the 4th, but it wasn't even enough to get the driveway wet. I think we are considered to be in a moderate to severedrought up here.I bought my bike on June 6th and have been able to ride every day so far. It started out as T-storms here today and tomorrow 50%, but then went to near 0% today and less than 50% for tomorrow. At this point I wouldn't mind needing to drive the truck to work a few days. (plusI need time to do the front tire and brakes)

 

Agreed 100%, today the first rain we've had other than nothing more than a drizzle in 2 weeks, today was first day drove car to work in about a month.....but supposed to at least cool us down a little bit.

 

Someone told me it is supposed to get up to 105 where I live today (Southern Oregon). I hope he is full of it!!!

 

Here in Central VA, it got pretty damned hot today, dont' remember the number but it was 98 yesterday and supposed to be near the same today. But, we just had a thunderstorm roll through, first my bike has sat in the rain since I acquired it. Fortunately, it looks like it'll be mostly dried off of the roads before I leave work. Being new to riding (<3 months) I don't want to have to do too much rain riding until after I've taken the MSF course (Friday, Sat and Sun) and get a few more miles under the feet.

 

Yea today is so HUMID i feel like im going to die. No way im suiting up to ride today, screw that haha. Yesterday was stinking hot but not humid, i can deal with that....

 

over here we are hitting over 100 plus heat index and i have been outside workin on my cbr but ive been riding my buell to cool off
gotta love florida
