Thats very true. But I have no sympathy for him, his family yes, him no.

Actually I wouldnt have sympathy for em if he was fully geared doing that shyt on a public hwy. Its just plain stupid and asking for shyt to happen.

Would it be a bad thing for us all to sign up there and make gear comments?

I am in agreement with you fingers. I feel sorry for the family but as for him and how easy it could have been to avoid this by just wearing a simple helmet. it is a sad day when we loose someone in the riding community and if he recovers from this i hope he will learn a good lesson. there is nothing wrong with doing stunts but there is no excuse for missing gear.

fellow rider or not that's a slap in the face to everyone who was careful, suited up, and still got mangled.

caller: "hello...is this the darwin hotline?"
speaker: "yes this is darwin hotline, how may we prove our theory with you today?"
caller: "yea, I stunt on the interstate completely unprotected, you think you could fit me in today?"
speaker: "certainly, we get these all the time...please hold."

if anyone was disrespectful it was him being so arrogant to assume he didn't need any protection while the thousands of others who die on bikes every year do.
