Worst Motorcycle Ever Made?

RE: Worst Motorcycle Ever Made?
I would have to go with buells. Big motors excellent weight distibution edgy but nice looks good solid sound. But with the good out of the way. Its belt driven the only chain driven buell is a moto gp which proves to me they know chains are better but dont run them, Even with the gigantic motor they are extremly sloww. it deserves two w's its so sloww.

I guess it depends how far back you want to go. My worst bike was my 1970 500 Kawasaki(bought in 1971). In 3000 miles, it ate 3 sets of pistons, a CDI (capacitor discharge ignition, they thought was so wonderful) and a clutch mechanism. I had dirty hands everywhere I went! As far as Harley bashing, the Harleys of this same time period were terrible! I had friends who had them and couldn't keep them together. They kept dealers busy with repairs. This is then when AMF bought out Harley to pail them out and it got even worse! I bought my Honda 750 K3 new in 1973 and then my 1100 Wing in 1981. I might as well get rid of my tools, except to change oil. They are as reliable as a pet rock. Yes, I still have them and ride them regularly.

Pacemaker, your right about going "far back". Since 1973 I have had nothing but Hondas after having many of the others. I have never had a problem with my Hondas either. I don't trade very often at all, because I never needed to. I did have a Triumph that I sold a few years ago. It was a 1967 TR6R, that I did a ground up restoration on, I used to show it at the Vintage Days at Mid-Ohio. Anyrate, I sold it because I remembered how they were back in the 60's. If I wanted a somewhat vintage ride, I jumped on the Honda 750. I knew I would never have to push it home.
