Just curious, why can't you stop working with your family?

 

Yeah work can suck... know what the difference between work and a wife is? After five years your work still sucks.

Cant say I always enjoy laying asphalt but it pays well and I am rather good at what I do.

 

the only thing that sucks about my work is the hours, i worked 80+hrs with no weekends off for 3 weeks straight =(

cause they pretty much support my ***. i have a condo, no degree, bike payment, not as much money saved up as i should have, credit card bills, bike insurance, ect.,ect.,ect. ****e just adds up to way to much, and no, if i do quit they will not be nice and family like and help support me until i find another job...just not how it works here. Probably wouldnt talk to me to much either lol...although, right now, doesnt sound to bad. Ive been thinkin bout gettin a new job for a min, but i have to do a couple things first like save up some money to help pay bills to cover that whole down time thing in between jobs ya know.

 

Join the military. No wait do not do that. Uhhhhhhhhhh...........do like you said, save up some money, leave on good terms (reference purposes), get another job. It sounds like you have a plan there homie.

 

lol, i was actually thinkin bout joinin the marines after i save up a bit of money to carry me thu the boot camp and pay off my credit cards

 

thats one reason why i hate workin with family ! things can get bad real quick

 

I used to work for family so I know exactly where you are coming from and yea they take advantage of you every chance they get...Im sure you heard it a million times but find another job and quit them, if they have a hissy fit over you making your situation better by making more money somewhere else, without family conflicts, and room for advancement...well in my opinion you arent losing too much by not talking to them anymore.......in todays world it everyone for theirselves or your gonna get s@#t on everytime
