Default A word to the Mods.

Thanks,

Thanks for keeping this board on topic and keeping the trolls at bay. I've had a few dislikes with the boards changes, not all, but some. But after joining several other boards, bike or other related, I have come to the relization of just how good this board truly is, especially the changes. And it is because of the Mods. I see some people join who are nothing but trouble starting, name calling, get your blood boiling type of people, and they are put in their place quickly, or better, put off the board. So many boards allow this type of behavior and it spins out of control quickly.

So again, thanks for keeping a board where I can come and know right up front that I will not see an E thug confrontation on every page. Im sure its a tireless job. But it is appreciated.

Hey there :-)

Your words are very much appreciated and yes it can be thankless but I am sure the other mods will agree when we see a post like this we do at least feel we're making a difference ... the bottom line has always been you can go and find fights, **** or goodness knows what else almost anywhere on the internet if that is what you want but this is a bike forum and we like to think you can come here and browse and post in peace ... if your child happens to come along and sit with you while you are on this forum then they hopefully won't see anything they shouldn't ..it's kinda family safe, you know :-)

and, you can thank the big boys like Chainstretcher, and Shadow and the others ... they're the real driving force who whack these idiots almost as soon as they come in through the front door ..they show no mercy and make this place feel tons better :-)

I have been on boards too where they just become like the wild west ... you can almost guaranteee being flamed or insulted for anything you post ... there are people out there who just like to push buttons to get a rise out of others ... sure we can ignore them but why not just send them straight to cyber hell ..lol

I will agree 110% the mods do a good job here. I am a mod on another board and do my best to keep the knowledge base acceptable and E thuggery to a 0 level. Jules and Steve the Aussie are top notch bloke and gal. Have a pint on me.

Thanks for the show of support - makes it easier to deal with the problems when you know that the members are behind you (well, most of 'em)
Clearly then, we don't (all) come across as jackbooted ***** viz no zense of humor, ja Except when it comes to safety........hmmmmmm
Let's hope we can continue to keep the members happy

ya i'm still fairly new here even though i just turned into a senior member, and you guys really do, do a good job. This is always a good place to find lots of people willing to help and that don't make u feel like a dumbass if u ask a iffy question. all in all, like stated above this is the best forum i've ever been on.
