does anyone have experience purchasing from woot.com ? good , bad ? i've seen some nice deals but just warry if its worth it

 

i order from there all the time. Great stuff, great prices. My co-worker just ordered a desktop comp from them, arrived within a week. I've ordered like 7-8 things from them. It's in my everyday check link. Look for the "woot-offs" they have. You'll see flashy spinny orange lights. Thats when they quick sell their overstock, as soon as one thing is gone they go to the next, instead of the usual one item a day. Happens generally once a month. They had the last one a few days ago.

 

I love woot. Bought a couple of things, but I go there damn near every day just to get a chuckle from the awesome descriptions of what they are selling. And $5 shipping no matter what it is kicks ***.

 

I'm a huge Woot fan and clear my schedule for Wootoffs. I also have 23 t-shirts from shirt.woot.com. Great site!

 

what are all the woot sites... i know of woot, t shirt, sellout, andwine... is there more? and what are the woot offs?

 

I love woot...ordered a few things from them and for the most part they arrive within 3-4 days.

Wootoffs are where they sell a product until it sells out, then another one right after that, they might sell 25 different products that day...maybe more...

Not related to the shirt place... but have brought stuff from them.

 

In the past year, wootoffs typically go for 2-3 days and have dozens upon dozens of products. I think the biggest claim to fame is their bag of crap...it's a mystery bag that sells for $3 + $5 shipping. These are VERY VERY hard to get, as they literally sellout (5000-10000 of them) in seconds. I got the BOC once, and for my $8 I got an $80 digital camera and about $15 worth of other useless crap. Not too shabby.

 

I always wanted the BOC, but its always sold out so fast...

wootoffs normally are 1 day, I have saw a few go for 2 days in the past, but generally they are 1 day
