Default Woosah... wooooooosah...

Right now I'm at Scary Furious. That's where you're so mad, you're actually calm. The calm is the scary part because it leaves the mind crystal clear for plotting the the most henious atrocities. Why am I so pissed?

Someone's been seriously disrepecting me, Ororo and now Yolie.

I share the driveway where I keep my bikes with the handyman who allegedly takes care of my landlord's properties. Except lately he hasn't done chit, including fixed the water pressure in my apartment (going on 3 months now). All I keep in the driveway are my bikes. He, on the other hand, has 3 trucks, snow removal gear, landscaping gear, ladders, trailers and literally one half - one ton of scrap metal. Because of his junk it took me weeks to get Ororo out of the driveway despite multiple polite requests. Strike One

Because of the lack of space I can no longer park my bikes against the wall out of the way, like I did with the previous handyman (his father). Last week I rode Yolie to work. When i got home.... Ororo was MOVED. Apparently he needed to get something out, Ororo was in the way and so... Strike Two. Actually closer to Strike One Billion: you NEVER move another man's bike without asking him.

Today the ultimate level of disrespect towards me. I'm drinking coffee in the living room when i hear a racket in the driveway. I look out the window and see two of his helpers preparing to lift a heavy duty lawn mower OVER Yolie, who is uncovered. I politely say out the window "hey if you give me a sec to get dressed, I'll come down and move her out the way". They say "cool, we'll wait". Less than a min later Yolie starts chirping that someone's too close and they need to back the **** off. I throw on some pants and shirt to gett down there. I find the handyman yelling at the helpers to hurry the hell up into the truck. So he was there when I asked them to wait. And had told them to go ahead anyways. He took off while I was unlocking the gate to check if Yolie was OK.

I've already called the landlord and let him know my level of displeasure. I'm seconds from calling the handyman's father, who rides Harley and would not be pleased with what's happen (both the driveway's state of disrepair AND especially with ****ing around with another man's bikes).

Sorry, I had to vent to get down to a Normal Mad level. I'd rather be so pissed I can't see straight than contemplating options with the cold clarity white phospherous anger gives.

Oh his father is a Real Rider. Still a respected member of a few old school clubs round here. Even my squidly ex-coworker I've mentioned a couple times knows his name. I'm just trying to decide if I need to escalate to Armageddon Level

The bottom line is if you are sharing the driveway, which by the way it doesn't actually sound like you are, you need to get clear clarification from the landlord as to who gets what part. Then take ownership of that by marking it off or distinguishing it on some way and make it clear that it is a no fly zone.

Otherwise you widdle down your rides to what's going to be 'safe' to park or find a new place.

Some of those suck but peice of mind is a tough thing to put a price tag on.

Im with Zaq.. Get some spray paint.. Mark off your half of the driveway and make it clear that if there is anything that is on your half you will gladly "toss" it back to the other side.

You know I'm just about angry enough to wait for the owner and ask wtf they're doing parking that close to my bike with open spaces all over the street?

With all that has happened to you lately I would have most likely left my heel imprint through his headlight.
You have quite the calm temper my friend.

Oh I'd disagree. So would the cops that just left my street

Was at my limits due to all the other **** that has happened today. I went to the store and came back to find the garbage strewn all over the street by some trash pickers. I tried polite. Then I went to the obscenities. Called the cops when some asswipe decided he didn't like the words I was using on the trash pickers. Even more fun?

I get a lecture from the cops a about how I talk to ppl. Has anyone seen my temper? I lost it somewhere...
