Default WOOO HOOO Part 2

"Alpha charlie omega, the rabbit is in the den, I repeat, the rabbit is in the den." Sorry, was just watching some stupid "Rambo like" movie and thought it was fitting. Anyways, got it picked up yesterday and was too tired to even post. I got up and took it for a ride first thing this morning. First impressions, wish I would have got a 1000. Just kidding. The bike is awesome. Pros= light, comfortable, very quick, incredible brakes, and even better than the brakes is the transmission. Shifting is effortless. Cons, Don't care for the steering at all. I'm use to the "point and shoot" of the f2. While the steering is quick, the 07 puts a lot more force on the rider. It reminds me of the older 900rr's with the 16 inch wheel. Maybe it's theDunlop, it is about half worn. And, I am use to the handling of the Michelin 2ct. If new tires don't fix it, I might haveto look into some adjustable triple clampsto change the geometry some. We will see. The only other downside is that I am use to 130hp. It feels lacking in power. I'm sure if I just came off a stock f2 or f3, I'd be blown away.
Ideas and plans are racing through my head like crazy. Can't wait to get started. Here's a few pics. After I get finished typing this, I am off to the garage to tear it down. It will never look like this again.

The other bike is the one described in my sig. Oh yeah, check out the "2007 bike of the year" thread.(shameless plug)

Red, It will be another street bike. If I can get the steering worked out, I might look to get another for a track bike.
Here are some updated pics. Now I'm just trying to decide where to start. I have a growing list of bolt on stuff to start ordering, just trying to decide wich mods to start.

I'll start a thread in the 600rr section as parts come in and mods start.

Yeah that was going to be my suggestion, start a build thread. That's probably something I should have done...I'm just hap hazard posting right now. Just installed my Woodcraft case covers todayand I'm ordering the Gilles chain adjusters, Carrozzeria GP Brembo Rear Brake Caliper Relocator, and a G-Craft Reservoir to clean up the back end. I'll post a few pics later..too lazy right now

Brad at Superbike Supply <I think he's a preferred vendor on here>. Best prices I've seen...good service too. I'm actually ordering it tomorrow..I'll PM you with price after I get off the phone with him. Fast shipping is a plus also.

Cool new toys are great . On a side note is the tire loose in that last pic ? Maybe its the angle but it looks crooked compared to the cowl frame and exhaust.

I'ts not the wheel, it's the subfarme. It is tweaked about 3/16 of an inch. If I can't fix it, I'll have to replace it. I think a crow bar and a RedBull should do the trick.
