Default Will My Bike Be Cool In Ten Years? Deep Thought About The Future

Its a question ive been wondering frequently lately....

I mean we went from carb. to fuel injection..... and we have been there for a few years now... whats the next step?

Next year will someone produce a electric street bike? And make my F4i obsolete? WHAT SHOULD WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING NEXT FROM MANUFACTURERS?

I know you have all probably seen the new electric race prototypes....

Whats next for the modern street bike?

Is a Shelby Cobra still "cool"? I think I've made my point.

With the way things seem to be going we might be lucky to even have Sport bikes.

ya, i hear ya...

they're really crackin' down...there's been several news reports on "dangerous crotch rockets" in just the last few day around here (so. fla) showing squids doin' stupid things and the reports make it seem like its anyone with a sportbike.

if you're in washington state, ive heard that there's been some messed up things goin on up there as well.

Beat me to it

But back on track, nobody has really advanced in engine designs for cars let alone motorcycles lately. I don't mean general improvements but a complete revamp, like going from carb to FI.

I don't see hybrids becoming a style for motorcycles. We're already crazy fuel efficient when our bikes are wasting gas due to tuning issues. And the "Loud pipes save... my ego!" crowd would freak being forced to ride a whisper quiet bike
