Why is it nothing works the same way twice?
Just got done putting my rear tire back on the bike. I've done this before. I've taken both wheels off my F3 and put them back on before. So why the hell is it the before getting the wheels off was the world's biggest pain in the ***...
And this time it took 2 fecking hours to get the rear wheel ONLY back on??? Took so damn long I didn't get a chance to remount the rear brake cause it got dark. So bike is down for another day.
But I got a shiny new Power Pure on the rear!
note to self: take Simple Green to rear tire before riding cause I got grease all over the place.

The worst is when a particular fix goes really smoothly a couple times and lulls you to sleep. I remember pulling the carbs on my and my girlfriends F2's 4 times in a month (misdiagnosed an idle problem as a dirty carb/pilot problem on my bike, 2 adjustments), and they were all in and out in under 1.5 hours, even with a full cleaning. The 5th time it took me over 4 hours of swearing and bruised knuckles to take them out and put them in. Of course I was late getting somewhere because I expected this fix (which I had done about 10 times on various carby sportbikes at that time) to take under 2 hours. Some day's you've got it, some days you don't.
