Ok.. so I have a comcast 8 meg connection right...
I'm downloading a few files that add up to roughly 4GB.. and I go eat dinner. I come back and they are done.
I think, crap, must have lost connection or something.
No... they're done. So I went to speedtest.net and checked out my speed... well, look.

Thats 118,113kbps which is 14,764KBps, which is 14.41 MB every second.

That's not just a spike either. For some reason I am sustaining download speeds of roughly 10,000KBps right now. It's crazy!!!!

lol, im getting a few movies, but its insane how fast I'm getting it all. If I find enough stuff to download I can download 50GB/hour at these speeds!

I was wondering why my connection has been slow today. Your draining the system and pulling my speed down (kinda like drafting) so knock it off

And Japan and Korea normal internet speeds are 5x faster than that.

Yeah I clocked close to that on speedtest just now too, also with comcast. Be very careful though, Comcast has a habit of uncerimoniously canceling people's service for high usage.

With speedtest it depends on what server you ping. I can ping a city 6 hours away and then ping a city thousands of miles away and be twice as fast.

I pinged Chicago like you did and hit 7.5mb
