wow he was THAT guy. Noobie on a liter bike with NO gear. I wouldve felt bad for him, offered him a brew maybe, and some advice! like maybe learning how to ride before you get a liter bike. I know the sells person doesnt care who buys what, but there should be a 600cc limit to new riders and yet they are ignorant enough to buy them without doing research. stupid people.

I wear gear all the time. im down in fl and it's hot as hell. we got those ***** bags around here that wanna look cool riding the beach in flip flops and shades with their helmets sitting right behind them. I wear gear too because i figure the cops may think you look a bit more responsible and won't think twice about you when you ride by them.

I'd vote the "I like my skin where it is" option if it was available as well. I waited a LONG time to get into riding because I thought I would kill myself when I was younger...that and Money I don't know about seeing MORE people with gear lately?? I see people in full leathers without their helmet on?? and the ever popular wifebeater with flip flops and no helmet. I'd say It's 1 out of every 4 I see is properly geared up.

Florida being Florida, you still see a lot of Squidness down here. Shorts, Flip Flops, no helmet, etc

I considered my textile jacket ripping a zipper a nice twist of fate because it forces me to get a cooler one - hell you guys in FL all know its great to be at 90 degrees at 10am ... jeebus...All I need now are some nice pull over type pants so I can ride with my legs protected but get them over my shorts.
