Why do people hate on FORD?
The funniest part about it is, most people like one or the other, and truly don't know why. For the most part, its: my family has owned them, and thats what I started to drive, so it must be the best. Or when they were a teenager, they saw a movie, and thats what sparked their interest in a certain car. Most brand loyalties never started with a spec sheet, they started with an emotion.
70 hemi Cuda-mopar---70 429 boss mustang--Ford----69 SS chevelle--Chevy.....I can find reason to like american muscle of all brands...i dont think to many peeps wood kick any of these out of their garage. oh yea, i even liked my amc javelin....
amc javelin....
Where else you gonna get a car with a spoiler designed by Mark Donahue? LOL...

There's a guy that lives not far from me who has an AMX. It's in pretty dam good shape. I just saw a near mint gremlin roll down my street the other day, too. I almost bought a grem a few years ago. It was gonna be a dirt track car....lol..
As far as the Ford vs. Chevy debate.... I've had more problems with fords and I hate the special tool bs that seems to be more prevalent on them. **** using torx on calipers, too.
I went down the list of 16 Ford/Chevy products I've spent time with over the years (used to drive for work, and still have work trucks).
I've driven more Chevy products. Had problems with more Fords. Not by much, though. And all the above mentioned cars/trucks were pre-2000.
In my driveway atm, I have a Jeep, Toyota, and Honda... LOL.. (and Honda/Kawa bikes)
Hells yeah, bambam!!

ha ha i use to work at a used car lot, and now i work at an autoparts store and garage. and i have come to realize all vehicles are good vehicles......till they break. i like em all cause when they come into the shop i make money ha ha ha. i am a gm guy. i love my 04' z71 but i also love my parents 04' f-150 fx4. and i use to work on and detail the 08 hemi dodge trucks. and i love them too. ha ha i would take anything. and the toyota tundra throttle response (along with the titan) is amazing!! hell i even dont mind the fast and furious civics ha ha ive seen em smoke ls1 camaros (one of my favorites, and the ls1 TA) my biggest thing is i hate front wheel drive cars. id rather have rear or all wheel drive. ha ha thats my only dislike. ha ha.
sweeet,, thanks for the clip!! i had a 73 javelin i was a punk with a heavy foot..the thing wood burn offa rear right alll day long(one leggged dog) and i wood burner till she popped and walked up to the western auto and grabbed the best 15" tire out of the "old tire pile" $5 to mount it and id burner till she popped again hehe ....dammitt the memories, lucky to still be alive,....

Not a sports car by any means, but a good one. I later bought a mint AMC Eagle SX4. (this one isn't mine, but exactly the same)

"Experience what lies beyond the "sports car". Eagle SX/4. The first sport machine that doesn't always need a road" LMAO!!
Full time AWD with the 4sp manual and 258 V6. I bought it for $400 and ran the living chit out of it. I actually got it stuck one time trying to come down a cliff back onto the road. No chit, I had the front bumper flat against the road and the rear almost straight up in the air with all 4 wheels spinning. The passenger in the back seat ended up on the dashboard. (and she was pissed!)

Me and my buddy both grabbed a fender and rocked it loose...
Good times. I sold it to a Jeep guy for $500 cause he wanted the motor..
