I don't know about your area, but in Chattanooga, all the bike shops are closed on Mondays...except for ONE. I ran over a finishing nail yesterday, and need a new rear tire. I called Southern Honda (the only shop open on Mon) and they are out of stock in the size I need! Oh the irony!!!!!

Yep. All the ones I know of are, except for Cycle Barn.

Mine are all closed except a Kawasaki/Suzuki dealer. Sundays and Mondays around here you're either on your own or you better make some friends 'cause if you need something your SOL. Even Horizon (Kawi/Suzuki) doesn't have crap in stock... and they are a HUGE dealer. Irony indeed.

 

Everyone needs a 2 day weekend, and many people don't get it. So a lot of bike dealers are closed on Sunday and Monday for their 2 days.

 

The dealership I work for is open everyday except sunday and we carry honda, kawasaki, yamah, and suzuki. Mondays are really slow in the motorcycle industry for some reason or another so most dealers close because it cost more to open the shop for nothing than to just not open.

 

And they've probably learned that Monday isthe slowest day of the week.

 

My honda dealer is closed Saturday Sunday and Monday.

 

Yeah, I always wondered the same, but one of the dealerships has a sign on the door with the hours," SUN-MON: Gone Riding" So maybe it has something with a lot of people riding sunday as well. Only place open here is cycle gear.

 

I believe cycle gear is open on monday. matter fact I believe they re open everyday.

 

yep here in sacramento too... pisses me off when something happens on the weekend and i need it asap. but thankfully in the past craigslist has been there to help me out haha
