Default Why????

What is so great about these that would prompt someone to pay more than $170.00?

What am I missing here?

Looks like to can adjust them right then and there with a simple push of the thumb. Smooth operation via the bearings, less friction, easier operation...I dunno, I can't see allot of the prices on motorcycle stuff...20 bucks for slider pucks??? c'mon, they're a round peice of plastic! Or 150 or so for a seat cowl,,,,,,it's all expensive cause it's a bike I guess. A toy....

You could take a dump on a paper plate, stick some toothpicks in it, sprinkle some glitter on it, and someone will buy it on Ebay. They do seem a bit high priced.

They're good looking levers and do offer an easier adjustment, but $170 is extremely pricey, even if they are CNC machined billet aluminum.

they are shorter so you are able to only use 2 fingers for faster pull ins and custom precision adjustments...they use those on racebikes

I understand that... and I would be willing to pay more for those features.... but not $150 more than a normal pair! That's obscene.

Please don't tell me that we as a sport bike community have reached the point of paying 7.5 times more for something like this. Say it ain't so.

I'd rather have a spare set or two in case I go down at the track.

The long CRGs have a snap point in case you go down, they snap and leave you with shorties. The shorties are supposed to be short enough that the bar end takes the hit and the lever is still intact. That is the theory, maybe someone has another thought.

Also, you do pay for 'bling' and they are will made. They aren't worth the money, but then again, have you seen the prices for NFL football tickets or even Hockey. I'd rather buy these levers than pay those animal to crack each others skulls especially when I can sit in my own living room, drinking my own vodka and taking a crap in my own toilet....but I digress..sorry.

A buddy just put those on his gixxer and I think they suck poo. The quick adjustability is nice, but the oem ones can be adjusted too. Just another gimmick for posers.
