I lost a pair of tailored gloves back in May I think? Anyway, made by this old guy who unfortunately has since passed on (the gloves where over 25 years old) & he had a few miles on the clock when I originally got em. Only had to have one glove though, as they cost an arm to buy. I have now got a pair of Summer gloves (small) & a pair of Stagg all rounders.

Oh, & like everything that you buy over the counter, they fit so so

I have a very hard time finding gloves that fit me, right now I have a* alloy, theyre shorties, size L and the fingers are a bit too long. I have a deformity in the bone structure in my hand where the knuckles are bent upwards, so it is like the equivalent of having really fat short stubby fingers, but the actual hand/palm is pretty big, so I'm usually either drowning in the fingers, or if the fingers are the right length I can't get my big *** hand inside them.

Only two I've been able to find a close fit are those a* and olympia gel gloves, haven't had any luck with gauntlet style gloves fitting unfortunately. If anyone else has a big hand and short stubby fingers that have found some that fit let me know what they are so I can try to find a pair to try on. Or if anyone knows of a place that custom makes gloves, I'll pay a little extra to have something actually made to fit.

I wear size XXXL A*stars (hands like a swamp crab)
XXL anything else
A *stars are a smaller cut than everything else I've tried......

 

well i went and tried more gloves, actually the same ones from the other day but i was more open to other options and they didnt really have any small in stock. they just got their shipment today, but its all boxed up sitting in the middle of the room on pallets. what was weird though was some of the medium frank thomas models fit like the a* small, but that was only in gauntlets. the a* smx-2 air carbons in small actually fit well, but they were shorties. im hoping they will have the stuff out by this weekend so i can go try more on. what sucks is they dont carry icon b/c the mgr doesnt like them[&:]
