Who buys a Harley Davidson?
where is that thread?
bash, clown blah blah blah...we're all on 2 wheels...whether it's a $20K cruiser or a $2K beater...
you have just as much guys on sportbikes who are all about image and bling and just cruising...just like the harley riders...

I'll ride with anybody and don't care about name or brand. If I'm confident about their riding skills, I know I'll have a good time. I ride with dudes who have sport bikes, HDs, dual sports...whatever. I just want to have a good time. Life is good...
I really don't care what people ride, if its on two wheels its cool, the thing that does bug me is thatsome of harley guys won't even give you a wave or you pass by on a sportbike, kinda gives me a bad opinion of them I guess. Its certainly not truefor all of themthough, just some.
I love Harleys and my cbr. Hopefully someday I will have both. Going fast is great but its all about the ride, its not practical or safe to be racing everywhere you go so there is no need for that performance to always be there. As long as its on 2 wheels and doesn't have a stereo, I aprove.

Anyway, that's enough of the time I'll waste on this post.

I respect (almost) anyone on 2 wheels. I would rather ride with the Harley person than the guy on the sport bike, that feels he has to do some stupid stunt every 5 minutes.
My friends that have Harley's are pretty cool with the fact that I own a sport bike and realize that each person has their own style and personal preference. That is one of the things that make us human. If there is a Harley person bashing your sport bike, you can always ignore them...
Alright, there I go wasting more time on this subject. I'm done.
i got to luagh at you guys a bit and thing that rideing a bike is all preformance. i always thought of riding a bike being all about pleasure weather that comes from preformance or takeing a comfterble cruise on country roads or having people stare at your bike.
out of all the people iknow that ride only 2 of us have sport bikes and were the only 2 with imports and while my freinds and rather may jab at us and make fun its all in good fun becuase if someone f'ed with us they would be the first people to help us.
its funny think about these sterio types how all corvette owners are old and asses and all harly guys are mean loud biker jerk offs. most times if you take the time to talk to these guys there really nice people they think most people on sports bikes are stuck up stupid kids so i guess it goes both ways. but from my experinces they are nice people in most cases.
and not every bike is ment to be sporty .

That is so funny, I even showed my kids! I just saw a show called "factories" or something like that about Harleys (they're doing Budweiser next). It was pretty interesting. The last station, before the bike is road tested, they have a robot that puts a pin size hole in the oil tank so each motorcycle can leave with a factory oil leak...[sm=icon_rofl.gif]...I know a lot of guys that ride Harleys. One of them wants to trade bikes and go for a ride. I'm scared to drop a sixteen thousand dollar bike that isn't mine. The thing probably weighs at least two hundred more pounds than my bike...uggh.

I guess it's better than the how I'm gona do someho on my bike thread[&:]
